The dough at Spark Pizza is top-notch, reminiscent of family-run Italian joints in Italy. If you're a pizza lover, this place won't disappoint. Better Than Italian Pizza in Italy, Spark Pizza surpasses authentic Italian pizza. That's high praise! Friendly service and amazing pizza make this spot stand out. Redmond's Spark Pizza was recently ranked among the Top 50 Pizza Restaurants in the U.S. by 50 Top Pizza, an Italian publication based out of Paestum, near Naples. Known for their house-made crust, fine-cured meats, and delicious Italian and Washington cheeses. The A-Lotta Burrata pizza is exceptional, with fresh toppings and a delicious crust. An Incredible Wood-Fired Pizza Experience! The dough was incredibly flavorful and perfectly baked, resulting in mouthwatering pizzas that arrived promptly. The service was quick and friendly, with an eye on table turnover (there's a 90-minute limit). Keep in mind that seating is limited to the outdoor covered patio. Tables tend to fill up quickly, but guests don't seem to linger for too long. Quick service accommodates the limited seating (no reservations accepted). The outdoor seating area is comfortable and warm, even during cooler weather. On Sundays, Spark is making a special limited batch of New York-style pizzas with the signature ability to be folded while eaten but cooked to a distinct crispness, offering both a chewy and crunchy bite. Minuses: Lack of Parking: Unfortunately, Spark Pizza lacks convenient parking options. No Indoor Seating: Keep in mind that there's no indoor seating available. Outdated Ambiance: Noted that the ambiance feels outdated.
The pizzas here are delicious! I do wish the base of the honey and buffalo pizzas held up better when eating but the Fun-Gal and Children of the Corn pizza definitely held their shape better. The flavors for all of the pizzas were definitely spot on and delicious. I got the raspberry lemonade and it was nice and tart. Balanced the flavors of the pizza for me. Only street parking is available but there is a parking lot we used across the street that seemed okay. It's definitely a bit pricey but nice for a date. We sat on the patio and it was a very great environment. The service was great.
Fantastic food! They have consistently kept up their quality. I still love the allota burrata with hot honey and added ricotta, it's my favorite pizza I've had and I've had pizza all over Europe and US. The servers are generally really great. I really miss them offering blankets as the only seating is outdoor. Get there early or expect a wait!
One of my favorite pizza places I have ever been to We waited around 45 min to get seated (loved the waiting area) and were immediately greeted in the friendliest way. All the workers here really take care of you and it almost feels like youre at a friends place. We ordered the Honey, Spice, and Everything Nice pizza and the Burrata with Foccacia (based on our waiters recommendation, he was super cool). The patio deck is so lovely and the music, decor, and weather gave us an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious - the bread that they make in-house was incredibly fluffy, chewy, and crispy. The flavors for the hot honey pizza were unlike anything Ive had before and the pepperonis were so good. The burrata is also so flavorful (especially that pistachio and pine nut puree). Having the crust with their garlic oil was delicious too. Genuinely one of the best pizza experiences Ive ever had, despite the more limited seating. It was so worth it, and all the workers were amazing and make the experience so special. You cannot go wrong with any of their menu items If youre still not convinced enough to wait, they have a convenient takeout option that only takes 15-20 min!
Amazing spot for wood fired pizza! The dough was so tasty and baked perfectly, and the pizzas come out fast! The service is quick and friendly to help turn tables (I think there's a 90 min limit) and this is partly because there is limited seating (outdoor covered patio only, fyi). Tables fill up quick but it looked like people also didn't linger around too long. The food: -Citrus Mistress: sweet lemon pizza which was light and delicious, but if you're not a fan of honey on pizza I'd skip this one -Buffalo Soldier: tasty, but basically like any other good buffalo sauced pizza -Meatballs: really soft and tender meatballs with a fresh tomato sauce. Didn't really think it was spicy though
Great service, awesome pizza, definite place for pizza. We were trying to order a pickup and want to know whether they will make half and half. By the time we were ready to order, time had passed for the last order, but they were courteous to take our order, and it was ready for pickup when we arrived, hot from oven. We had ordered Buffy the vegetarian slayer Awesome flavor and taste. Pizza was thin on cener loaded with fresh vegetables, not spicy, but was bursting with flavors. Fun Gal Variety of great tasting mushrooms accompanied with awesome sauce. We also got a Marinara sauce for dipping our sides. It was great tasting. Great ingredients, great love, and awesome pizza!
My favorite pizza place in the greater Seattle area cus Y'ALL there is NOTHING as fire as Spark's crust + garlic oil combo. It SLAPS. It is a BANGER. Also the crust by itself is the best crust I have ever had, SO fluffy, the perfect bread, I would eat a plain pizza here that was literally just a disk of crust. Aside from that though everything here is chef's kiss, I've been here three times now and my all-time favorite is the Homage to Frankie's. The toppings are the perfect and the TOMATO SAUCE!!!! is amazing. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. I've also tried the Fire in the Hole which is a lil weird and not to my tastes but I could see someone else loving it. Turf & Turf is also a great meat lover's pizza. Also the service here is always impeccable -- friendliest people ever and so enthusiastic. Love them. Note that there is limited parking and only outdoor (covered/heated) seating. I've been here in the winter as well and it's not bad, just need to bundle up.
Really good pizza! Waited 30 min but worth it and staff were really nice. Limited patio seating with heaters so if you want to get takeout they said that's 50% of their business. Parking is a bit tricky so plan for some time in advanced before you arrive. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant but you need to take back alleys to get into.
Best pizza on the Eastside!! I've visited for years now and nothing comes close. Their menu is extensive. Certainly on the pricier side but not outrageous for a nicer pizza place and you get what you pay for. My favorites include Buddy The Vegetarian Slayer, The Classic Margherita, and their special Detroit style pizza. The pizzas aren't big but they're extremely filling. The ambiance here is great - there's plenty of outdoor seating that's covered and features aesthetic lighting. Parking here is scant. I suggest parking in the Trader Joe's parking lot nearby and walking over.
The best Pizza spot in town. This is the best Pizza I've ever had. Super soft, fluffy crust. No doubt Sparks Pizza ranks continuously among one of top Pizza restaurants in the United States. Possibly the best in the state of Washington. I highly recommend Burrata. The Fun-gal is an amazing Vegetarian pizza. Such an amazing mushroom based pizza...I think they call Fun-gal based Funghi pizza. Ambience is good..not great. Service is fast and the folks are polite and explain all their flavors with passion. I waited over an hour for a seat and it was worth the wait. I am glad I went for a dine in.
